A Musical Journey to Afro Cuban Roots with David Chala - 16th May 2013 @ Fringe Club, 8 PM Onwards
David will host this first and ever Cuban music and cultural expose with different types of Afro Cuban rhythms such as Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Bolero. Guajira, Pilon, Mozambique, Son and traditional son, etc. He will lead a group of professional musicians using electric and acoustics instruments to play Afro Cuban Jazz Quartet with performance showcasing Afro Cuban drumming and dance with rhythms like Rumba Guaguanco, Comparsa and Yoruba Bembe expressing the normal way of Cuban daily life.
